Photoshop's User Interface Recreated in the Real World

Creating your own Simpsons Character certainly qualifies as creative. You can do this on the Simpsons Movie website (hat tip Extreme Craft). It may not be as creative as some other crafty endeavors but it is interesting to see the software and watch how the character changes as you select different eyes, mouths and hair colors. Too bad there were no glasses - New York Magazine's Vulture blog seemed disappointed by this as well.
There's been far too much Simpsons lately with the movie and all the spider pig singing but the character maker is worth a look.
The SciFi Channel's Hero creator is pretty cool too if you dig this kind of thing. We are also waiting for Elf Yourself 2.0 to come out in time for the holidays.
