Netflix has gotten crafty with a website called Netflix Origami. The website says, "Although most origami requires special paper squares, we have adapted these designs so you can use NetFlix flaps without alteration. Just tear them off carefully at the perforated line and follow our step-by-step instructions for making paper-folding magic."
There are instructiosn for a Swan, a Frog, a Crab as well as some paper planes and other projects. (via Gizmodo)
A skilled origami crafter named Chris is back with a double one-handed bird-folding video. He told Boing Boing that he made the video to debunk those claiming an earlier one-handed origami video he made was a fake.
"This is a video of me doing one-handed origami, making a flapping bird in each hand at the same time, one with my left hand and one with my right. I put just a single one-handed video up on YouTube last year and there was like a stream of folk complaining it was fake, so I figured out how to debunk it"

Madeline filled her Origami Valentine box with candy hearts that say sweet things like Be Mine and I Love You. Another good idea for your origami box would be those Valentine M&M's.

The EnchantedLearning.com website has instructions for making an origami frog that can actually jump. All you need to make these frogs are paper, scissors and markers or crayons. The origimai frog building process is not difficult. You just follow the simply folding instructions and then draw two eyes on your frog and you are finished.
Enchanted Learning says that when you are done making multiple origami jumping frogs you can have a contest to see which frog jumps the best. There is also a handy informational page about frogs so you can teach your kids some amazing frog facts.
